PAIN

Hip or Groin

Many tissues can affect hip or groin pain, from the cartilage or the labrum of the hip to one or more of the tissues that make up the lumbar spine. The SI joint could also be a factor.

Our

Approach

After we identify the tissues involved and the factors triggering the pain, we will engage in manual hands-on soft tissue and joint mobilizations to provide input into the tissues so they can better tolerate stress without issue.  Exercise is needed to not only strengthen weak areas but also to provide the tissue with appropriate input.  Exercises may start with small but specific movement in order to isolate a small but important muscle before moving to larger more dynamic movements, all of which is designed to get you back on the dance floor!
